Katie Benson works across media to address topics we don’t talk about openly enough. Her work discusses themes such as illness, marginalization, and false accusations. These works draw heavily from personal experience or that of those close to her. Katie has been working primarily in photography but often uses other media including oil paint, ink, and installation. Katie earned her BFA in Studio Art from Brigham Young University in 2019 and resides in Utah. ​
